News . . .
Ok, now where shall I start? Well the 'Disconcerting Eye' project was very well received in the local area and the feedback was very positive. The variety of work throughout the ten week programme was amazing to see and the exhibition certainly did get more people into Dorking town centre. If you are an artist looking for local gallery hire or know someone who is looking then it is definitely worthwhile contacting your local council to see if they would hire out vacant retail spaces for a short term lease. This initiative worked very well for 'Disconcerting Eye' and it is much better looking at artwork than an empty shopfloor!
I haven't got any exhibitions in the near future but i am continuing to make work (although very different work). I'm experimenting with some abstract pieces at the moment - I will put them on the website when completed, two of them are already on here (see opposite and 'painting' page) but hopefully there should be more on the way! I can do these sorts of pieces in any colour or size so please enquire if you would like a commission done!
I've just realised that there isn't any information about me anymore, sorry to those of you who don't know me! I am primarily a portrait artist as the subsequent webpages should show and I graduated with a Masters in 'Fine Art: Drawing' from Wimbledon College of Art in 2008. I currently live and work in the south east of England so if you'd like a portrait or abstract done, please let me know!
